Me: But, little girls wear dresses and little boys don't (Is it okay to say this?? Or is it reinforcing those darn gender roles??)
Andrew: Oh, but I want to be pretty.
He's got a pretty good start on being pretty in his tiara.

Isaiah likes to pretend like he's a teacher and while doing that he's a girl. I know he doesn't understand there are men teachers but at the same time I have a hard time allowing him to pretend that way. But like you, I wonder if I'm doing the right thing.
